With the help of three selected DIY projects, you can make affordable and individual wall decorations yourself.
For the first two DIY projects you will need small circles made of glossy paper or self-adhesive foil in gold. Choose the size of the circles depending on the area you want to cover. You are welcome to use other geometric figures or even hearts. You can either get them ready-made from a craft store or punch them out yourself from suitable paper. Before you fix the circles on the frame, imagine how many you would actually need and how many would cover a row. Then you can simply pin the circles into the Styrofoam using the pins.

Cut out 'fish scales' from wooden paper using the template. You can find it in the craft store or alternatively use something else depending on your preference. Use a sharp cutting knife to cut out the fish scales and, if necessary, sand the edges a bit for a finishing touch.
Fix the wood-look fish scales using double-sided adhesive tape. It is better to use mounting tape, which will definitely last longer. Glue the decorative pieces in place and press firmly to make them stick.
Depending on the situation, you can leave some areas free or fill them with color. You can of course recreate the same pattern using other materials or later replace the fish scales with others in color. Alternatively, decorate only part of the wall and leave the rest free, only with contours.
Light colors are more popular in the bedroom, as they create a fresh, cheerful atmosphere and appear relaxed. When decorating the room, it is advisable to choose colors and shapes that can be found in other elements. This creates a harmonious overall picture that appears uniform and not confused.
