Little sleep, too much stress, an unhealthy diet, alcohol and cigarettes often play a decisive role. However, drooping eyelids can also be genetically predisposed and can occur in some people in childhood. When the movable part of the upper eyelid can no longer be seen, it is referred to as drooping eyelids. This makes the eyes look smaller and sad and the face looks somehow tired and sluggish.
