Heavenly delicious & so easy: make your own speculoos cream
Speculoos cream is the all-rounder among DIY recipe ideas.
Our popular cream made from crunchy pistachios is wonderfully versatile. Not only is it great on bread, it is also perfect for baking. But this culinary delight is also always well received as a souvenir.
From now on you can do without expensive creams from the supermarket. Because we simply make our spread ourselves. We will also ensure a lot of variety on your dining table in the new year.
Forget boring Nutella, sticky jam and bland peanut butter. Now pistachios are conquering your bread. Anyone who previously only knew pistachios as a salty snack on the sofa should now sit up and take notice. Because pistachios are currently more popular than ever. And rightly so. No matter whether in ice cream, in chocolate or on bread. Pistachios are just everywhere right now.
But who knows that, botanically speaking, pistachios are not a nut at all? They are stone fruits. Nevertheless, like nuts, they score with lots of potassium, polyunsaturated fatty acids, fiber and vitamin B.

Here comes a real taste explosion in your mouth. Our homemade pistachio cream scores particularly well with its unique nutty and slightly sweet taste and silky consistency. The vanilla really rounds off the cream in this recipe and ensures a very special taste experience. Try it out straight away! But be careful: there is an acute risk of addiction here!
You need:
- 80 g pistachios, unsalted
- 120 g chocolate, white
- 25 g Butter
- 1 pinch of salt
- 50g condensed milk

2. Heat all other ingredients in a water bath until the chocolate and butter are completely melted.
3. Now add the pistachios and stir everything vigorously. Now mix the cream again with the hand blender until it has a smooth consistency.
4. Pour the cream into a boiled jam jar and close tightly. Allow to cool.
