Do you already know the 3D ball hairbrush from Amazon? With this tool you can create magical waves - super quick and super easy.

What could be so great and spectacular about a hairbrush that we absolutely need it? We asked ourselves that (also) when the tool was shown to us over and over again on our social media channels for a while.

Because the visual pressure was so high at some point, we of course clicked on one of the videos. And what we saw here really surprised us.

But now in more detail. And it's about a so-called3D ball hair brush(here on Amazon*). Not only does the name of the styling tool sound a bit unusual, the brush actually looks a little different than other models we know.

Forget conventional round brushes, skeleton brushes or paddle brushes - the ball brush lives up to its name and looks like a ball with bristles (some people may also find it reminiscent of a toilet brush...).

That's why everyone loves this 3D ball brush from Amazon

You can comb your hair with a brush. Too simple? OK. Of course, there are a lot of different hair brushes on the market that, depending on their texture, are suitable and better suited for very different types of hair (.). One of them is the 3D ball brush. The bristle ball not only looks very special, the product also shines with a special function.

Combing your hair – no problem. But now comes the highlight. With the ball brush you should be able to create magical waves in no time. Wait a minute, how is that supposed to work?

Instructions in the video: How to use the ball brush

The description of the brush on Amazon is quite confusing. All the better that beauty experts have already tested the tool and are sharing their experiences with the product on their social media channels. One of them is Susanne Krammer (@fraubeauty).

At this point there is external content from Instagram that is recommended by our editorial team. It complements the article and can be displayed and hidden again with one click.

Beauty expert Susanne Krammer introduces the 3D ball brush in one of her videos and also shows how to use the tool correctly.

Here comes the step-by-step instructions:

  • Wash your hair as usual and dry it lightly with a towel. Susanne Krammer recommends in the video that the hair should be around 80% dry.
  • Before you blow dry your hair, be sure to use a heat protectant (For example, this one from ghd is available on Amazon*). Heat dries out the hair and removes moisture.
  • Now pin your top hair in place and separate a single strand.
  • Now the ball brush is used. Place the tool at the top of the sectioned strand of hair and now begin to twist it. At the same time, of course, you have to blow dry the strands.
  • The ball brush causes the hair to spiral and, according to Krammer, a kind of iridescent curl is created.
  • Repeat this process strand by strand.
  • Let the spirals cool down and then start loosening them up with your fingers.
  • The result: beautiful, casual waves.

Wow! We love the result!

Video is all well and good - we also asked Susanne Krammer directly about her ball brush test (interview, January 2023).

Is it really that easy to curl your hair using a ball brush? “Yes, that works really well,” says Krammer.

And further: “I buy the products on my channel myself. I have nothing to say about it at all, it's cool if it's not cool. That’s why I’m honest when something is complete bullshit.”

According to Krammer, the ball brush is a gimmick. “But you can also get the mechanism without a ball brush. Basically, it's just a matter of twisting the hair together." Nevertheless, it works particularly well with the ball brush.
