Do you want to clean out your closet? Attention: These items of clothing will always remain trendy and you shouldn't give them away.
Is your wardrobe bursting at the seams again? Then it's a good time to sort things out. According to Marie Kondo, we should only keep things that make us happy.
And she’s absolutely right about that. Nevertheless, in our decluttering madness, we are sometimes a little too hasty and get rid of items of clothing that we can still use again at some point.
Sometimes because the pieces will make a fashionable comeback at some point and sometimes because we can still wear them on a rare occasion. We'll tell you which items of clothing you should give a second chance when clearing out.

Since working from home etc., many elegant items of clothing have had a sad existence in the closet. Because since Corona we prefer everything that is comfortable. What you should never discard, however, is a simple, black dress. At Christmas time at the latest there are numerous festive occasions where such a classic is used again.
An elegant dress is not only suitable for the annual Christmas party, but also for New Year's Eve or a fancy dinner. Never discard: the shirt blouse
The same applies to a shirt blouse. Maybe we don't wear them often in everyday life anymore, but there comes a time when we urgently need them again. Sometimes because there's another job interview after ages, sometimes because the colorful new skirt simply can't be combined with anything else.
It's a good thing that we have the simple basic for styling emergencies at the start. If the classic is made of high-quality materials and has a very classic collar shape - then definitely don't throw it away!

Must keep: a pair of comfortable jeans
Jeans trends come and go. No wonder that over time many different models accumulate in the closet. We'll then be happy to sort out the trousers that we've had enough of or that aren't fashionable at the moment.
But be careful, so far every trouser cut has reappeared on the trend radar after a few years. And let's be honest, there are actually no jeans that are really out. From skinny to flared to mom jeans, everything is allowed. So if the pants fit perfectly and are comfortable at the same time, you should keep them.

Tip for clearing out:Before sorting out, try on each piece of clothing carefully. If the part fits, but you no longer like it, it helps to just mentally separate yourself from it for a while. You can take it out again in an airtight box in the basement and you'll definitely feel like you've just bought it new. If it is still not missed after one or two years, it can be removed.
