- 2 chopped onions
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 sprig of rosemary
- 50 ml olive oil
- 3 tablespoons dry white wine
- 200 ml cooking cream
- 300 g Speck
- 200 g Reblochon cheese (Brie, Camembert) in pieces
- Salt to taste

Instructions for preparation:
- Oven – 180 degrees;
- Take a rectangular shape 30/20 cm
- Wash the potatoes and place them unpeeled in a pot with a sprig of fresh rosemary. Bring to a boil on the stove and cook for exactly 15 minutes. Remove and place in a bowl of cold water. Peel.
- Finely chop the onion and garlic and fry in olive oil until soft.
- Add the diced bacon and fry until golden. Finally, deglaze with the wine and simmer for a few minutes so that the wine evaporates. Remove from heat.
- Cut the potatoes into slices approx. 1.5 cm thick and place them on the bottom of the dish.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper and spread half of the bacon and onion mixture on top.
- Cover with half the cream and sprinkle with cheese. Spread the potatoes and the filling on top again, add the cream on top and finish with cheese.
- Bake at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes.
Prepare Alpine tartiflette
This tartiflette recipe is suitable for anyone who doesn't want long preparations or doesn't have an oven for baking.A quick dish, which is suitable for a romantic evening or for unexpected guests.
Ingredients:
- 1kg potatoes
- 250g Abondance cheese
- 250 g smoked beef brisket
- 1 onion
- Ground black pepper and salt – to taste
- Vegetable oil – for frying
- 250 g dry white wine
Step-by-step preparation of Alpine tartiflette:
- Prepare the potatoes – clean, wash and cut into small cubes. Fry over medium heat until half cooked.
- Peel and chop the onion, cut the brisket into cubes - add everything to the pan with the potatoes and fry for a few minutes.
- Pour 250 ml of wine into the potatoes, add the cheese and spices. Turn the heat to low and let it simmer. You can put a lid on it. Let simmer until the potatoes are completely cooked through.
- Serve hot and in portions with a glass of dry white wine.
Prepare the recipe with mushrooms and chicken breast
This is a remarkable twist on the traditional French tartiflette recipe. The chicken meat is lower in calories than bacon and the wild mushrooms give it a delicious taste.
Ingredients:
- 300 g Mushrooms
- 600g potatoes
- 1 piece smoked chicken breast
- 150 ml cream of any fat content
- 150 g hard cheese
- 30 g Butter
- Salt and ground black pepper – to taste
Step by step preparation of tartiflette with mushrooms and chicken breast:
- Boil potatoes until cooked, cool, peel and cut into slices.
- Clean the mushrooms, rinse under running water, dry and cut into thin slices.
- Cut the smoked chicken breast into slices.
- Grease the bottom of the baking dish with butter, lay out mushrooms, potatoes, chicken, season if necessary.
- Pour cream over it, sprinkle with grated cheese, cover with foil and put in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 30-40 minutes.
- To brown the cheese crust, remove the foil 5-10 minutes before the end of the cooking time.
Zucchini-Tartiflette Variation
Traditionally, the French tartiflette is made with potatoes, but you can also replace them with another vegetable, for example zucchini. With such an original variantyou can the dishmake it varied. Since zucchini release a lot of liquid during heat treatment, you need to add one more ingredient - oatmeal. We recommend portioning this dish into small baking pans.
Ingredients:
- 50g oat flakes
- 200 g Zucchini
- 120 g hard cheese
- 30 g Butter

- 4 sprigs of green onions
- 60 ml milk
- Salt and pepper – to taste
Instructions for preparing zucchini tartiflette:
- Prepare zucchini – grate on a coarse grater or cut into thin slices. Season with salt and drain the liquid.
- Grate cheese.
