Autumnal decorative glass for the table with lighting
Let's start with a really simple craft idea that doesn't even require scissors or glue. You will receive a beautiful decoration with which you can illuminate the dreary autumn days and make them more friendly. Just get a wider glass, some cones and a string of LED lights and you're good to godecorative glasscrafting with pine cones in autumn.
Place a first layer of pine cones and then spread some of the fairy lights. Ideally, this is located mainly on the outer sides so that the light can penetrate to the outside. Then add the next cones and continue until the decorative glass is full. You can also decorate the neck of the glass with a ribbon, yarn or linen fabric.
Make colorful cones in a basket with pine cones in autumn
This colorful craft idea is a similar variant. However, do not use glass, buta woven basketand you don't need a string of lights either (unless you want to spread them all over the top). Instead, take a candle. Depending on how deep the basket is, add an object on which you can place the candle firmly and lift it. Paint the cones as desired and then distribute them around the candles. If you prefer something simpler, you can bleach the pine cones or leave them brown.
Autumn crafts with natural materials - A beautiful, rustic mirror frame

Cones are your saviors in times of need. Simply stick them along the frame and you can either arrange them parallel to each other or, as in the example, tip to tip. Crafts with children in autumn – make your own forest landscape
Create a fall forest on a tree slice using standing pine cones. The cones are the treetops, while wooden dowels are used as tree trunks. You need short as well as long cones - e.g. B. Fir and pine cones. The perfect idea forCrafting with natural materialsin autumn!
- Cones in two sizes
- Acrylic or poster paints and brushes as well as any other decorations (e.g. glitter)
- Wooden dowels (or materials with a similar shape, such as pasta tortiglioni or sticks)
- Hot glue
- Playdough
- Wooden slice
Glue the wooden dowels to the bottom of the tenons. Once the glue has dried, you can start painting (preferably fall colors to imitate colorful foliage). Place the finished “trees” on newspaper or another surface to dry. You can then distribute the trees on the disk. Place a dab of glue anywhere and press the trunk into place. Apply more glue all around and hold the tree until the glue dries.
If you want, you can also paint the tree disc and imitate a meadow or forest landscape. Also, place the taller conifers in the background and the lower ones in the foreground so that the tall ones don't obscure the low ones. You can use playdough to make mushrooms or even forest animals and distribute them around the trees.

Hedgehog made of pine cones and plastic bottle
This hedgehog looks complicated, but it is very easy to make and with only a few materials. We'll explain how to do it step by stepthis cute little animalcrafting with pine cones in autumn. Tip: If you want, you can use a glass bottle instead of a plastic bottle. A black lid as a nose is ideal. But if necessary, it can also be painted black.
- Bottle
- Yarn
- Pine cones
- Hot glue and craft glue
- Scissors
- large brown and smaller white buttons
Wrap about a third of the bottle with the yarn, starting from the side with the opening (this will be the hedgehog's snout), applying a little craft glue and securing the beginning of the yarn onto it. Then add glue to the surface again and continue gluing the yarn around the neck of the bottle. Continue doing this little by little until you have covered the required area. You should therefore work in steps because otherwise the glue will dry before you get there with the yarn. Make sure not to leave any gaps between each row. Cut off the excess yarn.
Then glue the pine cones around the half bottle with hot glue where the yarn ends. Then repeat behind it for a second row and continue until the rest of the bottle is covered. Glue the white buttons into the brown buttons and then glue them to the left and right above the nose of the bottle. The autumn hedgehog is ready!
Tipp: Instead of using yarn, you can also dye the inside of the bottle by adding some dye and then moving it back and forth to spread it all over the place.
