Decorate in autumn with old garden tools

Search the shedold garden tools, which you can no longer use or temporarily use for autumn decorations. In the example it is a rake (fan broom), but shovels or rakes and brooms are of course also suitable, as well as a ladder or something similar. You decorate these with autumnal elements that you can choose freely. Here you can see a variant with corn on the cob. For this fall outdoor decoration you will need the following materials:

  • Rake
  • Brush and paint/varnish (optional)
  • Parcel cord
  • dried corn cobs
  • fresh, artificial or dried flowers with stems (e.g. E.g. hydrangeasor typical autumn flowers)

If you want, you can paint the rake first. This step is optional. Then give the paint enough time to dry. As you continue with the craft project, the paint should no longer stick. Spread the cobs on the rake and tie them with the string. Leave the dry leaves sticking downwards. Then insert the flowers between the cobs to fill in the gaps between them.

You can simply lean the finished autumn decorations for outside against a wall or stick them in a bed. It is advisable to combine this with other decorations so that it does not look so bare. For example, put wine boxesand pumpkins or pots of flowers next to it or how about an old window as a background?

Decorate the house entrance with a wreath

If you are looking for a quick and easy craft idea for an autumn wreath, you can use an embroidery frame as a base. In principle, you can then decorate it however you like.Dried flowers are, for examplea wonderful and popular variant. For the design in the example you need the following:

  • Embroidery frame
  • Wooden slices
  • Letter stickers or Edding for labeling
  • artificial flowers and leaves
  • Hot glue
  • Blumendraht

Start with the flowers. If necessary, trim them to the correct length and tie them to the ring with floral wire or use hot glue, preferably on just one side as an accent. Then add the leaves and possibly other elements (how about branches with berries?).

Then stick stickerson the wooden discswith the desired word or write down the letters with a sharpie or acrylic paint. Then glue them inside the ring opposite the flowers.Tipp: Instead of a word, you could also write your house number, for example, on the wooden discs.

Autumn decorations for outside: Design your garden with autumnal elements

If you make your own fall decorations for outside, don't forget the beds. Especially those that have not been planted with autumn flowers could use a few autumnal accents. How about this idea for an autumn decoration for outside: dig a larger flower pot partially into the bed. Beforehand, distribute pumpkins of different sizes (and preferably different types), as if they had rolled out of the fallen pot. To ensure that the decoration lasts a long time, it is best to choose a shady location (or use artificial pumpkins).
