Instructions for the Easter basket
The execution of thisprojectrequires some dangerous tools. That's why it's best if the Easter egg basket isn't made by children. Read the instructions carefully.
Step 1: Cover fruit container with ribbon
Wrap the fruit container with a 59 cm long ribbon to make the object look like a basket. Carefully fold the tips of the tape together and stick them together with the double-sided adhesive tape. Make sure the tips are not visible. Place the ½ cm ribbon on another wider strip and repeat the weaving process. Then tie the tips back together. Repeat this activity until the entire container is covered with tape.
Step 2: Form the handle out of wire
Next the wire comes into use. Use the wire cutters to cut a 25 cm long piece of wire. Wrap the wire around the coffee can or other object with a cylindrical shape. This is how you will design the handle. Use the flat-nose pliers to form small hangers so that the handle can later be attached to the container.
Step 3: Attach the handle to the basket and decorate
The next step is to cover and decorate the handle with 1/2 inch ribbon. Attach the tip of the ribbon to the end of the wire and carefully wrap the gift ribbon around the handle until it has been completely covered. At the end, attach with the glue gun. Allow the glue to dry off the entire structure. Then very carefully attach the handle to the container using the hangers. So that no wire comes out, you should wrap the areas around the hangers again with gift ribbon. As a beautiful decorative element, you can make a bow from the remaining ribbon and tie it to the Easter basket.
