Pop-up cards contain a pleasant surprise for the recipient who opens them. This simple technique is popular for birthdays, anniversaries, and various holidays like Christmas, Easter, and Valentine's Day. If you want to make your own Christmas cards this year, check out these easy ideas. You can make these special cards in less than 30 minutes. Also, don't forget to choose appropriate embellishments for the front of the card.
For this idea you need A5 red paper, A5 white paper, glitter paper in white and purple, motif cutters and glue.
1. Fold red and white paper in the middle. Shorten the red leaf by 0.5 centimeters on all sides.
2. Draw a 14cm line down the center of the card, about 1.5cm from the bottom edge. Draw a second 14 cm long line 7 cm above the first. A third 10 cm long line 5 cm above the second line, followed by a fourth line 6 cm long and 3 cm from the third line.
3. Using a craft knife, cut along all four lines and press all segments upwards.
4. Decorate the inside of the card with glitter stars and stripes. Stick a ribbon on the top of the tower.
5. Stick the red card on the white card.
Cut four strips of green paper about 30 centimeters long. All strips must be different widths, with a difference of about 2 centimeters. EveryoneFold strips into a harmonica. The ends of the strips are then glued to the inside of the card so that the green side faces forward. Once all the strips are glued, make the tree trunk by cutting a rectangle of brown paper and folding each end inward by half an inch. Then fold the piece of paper in half. Then glue the folded ends to each side of the card. Add a star to the top of the Christmas tree and some gifts.
You can also make a nice pop-up card by stacking a few circles on top of each other and sticking them in certain places.
Cut circles of two different sizes - for the head and body. 8-10 circles of each size should be enough. Stack all of the same size circles and fold the stack in half. Now comes the hard part. Once stacked, begin dripping glue near the edge and fold line and gluing both sides together.
