For example, solid food is avoided for 3, 5, 7, 10 or 12 days. The detox plan that we would like to introduce to you in today's article is carried out over a period of 5 days. It treats your body to intensive cleansing so that you feel fresher, fitter and freer. Below you will find out how the 5 day detox treatment works.
Important information before starting the detox treatment
So the detox treatmentwill be a complete success, there are a few things to consider. Here we have summarized a few important tips for you:
- The detox plan only lasts 5 days. 5 days go by very quickly,only the beginning is difficult. In addition, the juice recipes are so diverse that you will discover a new and interesting taste every day.
- Remember that you are doing this detox plan for the sake of your health. Your friends and family may be skeptical, but that shouldn't stop you. You don't have to lose sight of your goal and firmly believe in it.
- The right attitude is crucial for the success of the detox treatment. It controls your behavior, your actions and your thoughts. When you see a cake at the bakery, don't think: "It's a shame, I can't eat it because I'm on a diet." That's the wrong attitude. You can actually eat anything, but you don't want to eat any more. You have made a decision and have also set yourself the goal of restoring your health by cleansing your body of accumulated toxins. They want to feel good and change for the better.
- Tell yourself that you are proud of yourself! During the detox treatment, think of beautiful things and try to cleanse not only your body but also your soul. This way you will recharge your batteries with positive energy.
- Try to practice physical activity every day. You don't have to do hard training or break records. 30 – 40 minutes of running at a fast pace, jumping rope, climbing stairs – the possibilities are endless. Don't give yourself excuses like, "I don't have time" and "I don't know where I can work out." In fact, even in the office, you can do 10 squats every 40 minutes. You just have to feel like it.
- During the 5 days drink plenty of water, hot water with lemon and herbal teas. Try to consume at least two liters per day. Make sure you always have a 1.5 liter bottle of water nearby. Then you will automatically reach for it more often.
- Don't keep thinking that you are only consuming liquid food and that it is very little. It's not like that, it's all in your head. Quality comes before quantity. Listen to your body and not your hungry brain.
- Don't step on the scale every day. This is unnecessary stress. Weigh yourself at the beginning of the diet, and next time only on the sixth day. By the way, the best time to weigh yourself is in the morning. It would be even better if you measure your waist, hips and thighs.
- Sufficient and good sleep is important. Go to bed early to recharge your batteries while you sleep and be ready again in the morning.
- During the first two days it is possible to experience a headache. The main cause is the initially very strong dehydration of the body. The body rids itself of toxins. Don't worry and drink plenty of water. The headache will go away soon.
Tips for carrying out the detox treatment
- A 3 hour break between each meal is recommended. If possible, you should drink your first juice around 10 a.m. Can't you keep to fixed times? Then take at least a break of two and a half hours in between. If you can no longer resist the feeling of hunger, you can check out the SOS option in the Detox Plan.
- If you don't feel hungry, you may also miss a meal.
- Chew the juice. This promotes the formation of saliva and gastric juice and is very important for the optimal absorption of nutrients in the body.
- Drink the juice slowly and enjoy. This will suppress hunger and make you feel full. You can't eat the same amount of fruits and vegetables whole for 20 seconds, right?
- If you train very actively and feel that the juices are not enough, then you can make one of the recipes again a day. Don't forget the SOS option too.

Turbo Smoothie
2 apples
1/4 Pineapple

1 small beetroot tuber

Berry banana smoothie
2 apples
2 handfuls of berries – fresh or frozen
1/2 Banana
2 tablespoons yogurt
1 tablespoon seeds – sesame, flaxseed, pumpkin or sunflower seeds
1 handful of ice cream
Put apples in the juicer. Pour the apple juice into the blender. Add the berries, yogurt, banana and seeds and puree for a few seconds.

Remove the peel from the oranges and put them in the juicer together with the carrots, the piece of ginger and the mint. Pour the juice into the blender, add ice and blend for 30 seconds.
Pear and parsnip juice
1 apple
2 pears
1/2 Pastinake
1/2 lime
4 stalks of mint
1 handful of ice cream
Add all ingredients to the juicer. The mint and lime are pressed between the pears. Add ice and enjoy!
Rotate Smoothie
1 apple
2 medium carrots
1 medium-sized beetroot tuber
1 handful of blueberries (or other berries)
1 handful of ice cream
Put the apple, carrots and beetroot in the juicer. Pour the juice into the blender, add the berries and ice and puree.
The build-up days after the detox treatment are just as important
Your 5 detox days are now complete, a great achievement! The next build-up days are just as important as the previous detox days. Little by little there is solid food again. At least three, but preferably five, days should be planned for construction. Eat slowly and mostly easily digestible foods. Only in about a week will the full digestive power be restored. Before that, the stomach would not be able to digest a normal portion without health problems. For this reason, the construction days should not be neglected.
