Stylish interior in boyfriend style – interior design idea for men

Even when it comes to furnishing a home, there are sometimes prejudices. Men generally don't care about the interior. The appearance of a typically masculine apartment is primarily associated with a bachelor lifestyle. Miscellaneous furniture, dirty laundry lying around everywhere and perhaps a few empty pizza boxes and beer bottles dominate. Today we're going to dispel this clichéd idea. Modern men definitely like cool design and comfortable furniture. The motto usually applies: “Less is more” and there is a lack of unnecessary bells and whistles. Straight lines and neutral, dark colors are part of the masculine interior style. The Polish architectural firm “Metaforma” hasa beautiful apartmentdesigned in which stylish furnishings and boyfriend style are the focus.

Stylish furnishings for modern men

The masculine apartmentis located in the fifth largest city in Poland – Poznan. The design concept breaks down the stereotypes and clichés and becomes a model of what a modern men's apartment should look like. The apartment extends over two floors. On the first floor there is the living area with a dining table for four people and the open kitchen. The second floor, where the home office is, can be reached via an internal staircase. The color palette throughout the apartment is limited to two shades: dark gray and a cozy wood tone. Black, straight-line contours set accents and ensure an even more structured appearance. The interior, designed exclusively in neutral tones, appears elegant and, thanks to the use of natural materials, extremely cozy. The only colored detail is a Ferrari model car collection, with all miniature models in the distinctive Ferrari red. It is precisely this personal element that enlivens the atmosphere and conjures up a playful flair.

Stylish furnishings in a masculine living style

Thanks to the large window wall, the apartment appears inviting and bright, even though it is predominantly designed in dark tones. The focus of the living area is the internal staircase to the second floor and a TV console. There arethe red model carsarranged in a representative manner and give the entire apartment design an individual touch. There is a gray couch in the middle of the room and next to it is the dining area and the open kitchen-living room. All materials and looks used in the design of the entire apartment are also very elegantly put together in the design of the kitchen. This area functions as a chic connecting element in the interior.

Boyfriend style includes robust materials and dark tones. The design language and the mix of materials ensure a masculine appearance that makes a first impression when you enter the apartment. Another accent is the interesting wall design made of rectangular concrete slabs of different sizes, which are connected to the othersgray elements of the furnishingsstand. For the lighting, the designers opted exclusively for indirect lighting. Narrow, elongated LED lights are incorporated between the concrete panels, which provide a pleasant, diffuse light. A modern internal staircase without railings with steps in the same wood look as the floors throughout the apartment leads to the second floor.

The bedroom is also on the first floor and is also designed in wood and gray. At first glance all you see is the double bed and the playful wall design made of concrete slabs and LED lights. A floor-to-ceiling wardrobe with matt black sliding fronts remains barely visible along the entire wall. The relatively small but functional bathroom with shower impresses with the same cozy flair that the natural wood gives to the rest of the apartment.
