These favorite fruits can also be paired in original ways in sauces. Use the strawberry sauce not only for desserts, but even for savory dishes, including meat. You can prepare any of these at any time of the year by simply making the strawberry sauce from frozen strawberries or fresh strawberries as desired.
Let's start with a simple strawberry saucefor ice creamand other desserts. You can make a tasty strawberry sauce yourself from just four ingredients and use it to refine all your delicacies and you don't even have to cook the strawberries. This is how easy it is to prepare the strawberry topping:
- 300g strawberries
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
Wash and clean the strawberries by removing the stems and leaves. Then put them in a bowl with the sugar and vanilla sugar and puree the strawberries. Then use the lemon juice to dilute the strawberry sauce a little and to give it a pleasant, sour note. Add the juice little by little and taste the sauce until it is to your liking.
Strawberry pepper sauce for beef fillet
How does steak sound?with strawberry sauce for you? A delicious strawberry-pepper sauce goes perfectly with this delicacy and will pamper your taste buds. The strawberry sauce is quick and easy to make. How to prepare this pepper and strawberry sauce recipe:
Sauce for 5 people (1 kg beef fillet with side dishes):
- 250 g strawberries, diced
- 1 onion
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 9 colorful peppercorns
- olive oil
Heat the olive oil in a pan. In the meantime, peel, wash and dice the onion and then fry it in the oil until translucent. Deglaze them with the apple cider vinegar and fry for another 3 minutes. Add the diced strawberries and peppercorns and fry again for 3 minutes. The strawberry sauce is now ready and has strawberry pieces. But you can also puree it.
Pepper sauce with chili for beef fillet and zoodles

The so-called zoodles, noodles made from zucchini, which will soon be in season and are without a doubt a particularly popular ingredient for a wide variety of delicacies, also go perfectly with this. For the strawberry sauce you need the following:
For 2 people (400 g beef fillet):
- 250g strawberries
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 shallots
- Chili powder
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- Balsamic-Essig
- Salt
- 1 tsp green pepper
Wash the strawberries, remove the greens and cut them into slices. Finely dice the shallots. Heat oil in a pan and fry the strawberries over medium heat (if you previously fry the beef fillets in the same pan and add the strawberries to the gravy, the strawberry sauce will be even more aromatic). Then add the shallots and a teaspoon of the maple syrup and fry for 2 minutes. Deglaze with the vinegar and add the green pepper. Puree the mixture and the delicious strawberry pepper sauce is ready.
Strawberry sauce recipe –Strawberry curry ketchup

Simply perfect now that the grilling season has finally begun! This is how you can make the strawberry sauce yourself:
- 1kg strawberries
- 30g fresh ginger
- 2 chili peppers (optional)
- 1 onion
- 2 EL Kill
- 80g tomato paste
- 100 ml apple cider vinegar
- 3 tbsp Curry powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika powder
- 1 Price Nutmeg
- 250 g preserving sugar (2:1)
- pepper and salt
This thick strawberry sauce is delicious and healthy at the same time as a variant of the classic ketchup. Wash and clean the strawberries and puree them. Wash and grate the ginger finely and chop the chili peppers. Dice the onion. Then sauté the ginger, chili and onion in the oil for 5 minutes, then add the remaining ingredients (except pepper and salt) and bring to the boil over high heat, stirring constantly. Continue stirring and cooking 3 minutes. Finally, season the strawberry sauce with pepper and salt and fill the ketchup into suitable glasses.
Strawberry sauce for the Thermomix – strawberry BBQ sauce
If you want to make strawberry sauce yourself particularly quickly, you can use your Thermomix for this purpose. In just a few steps and without much effort you can really get onedelicious BBQStrawberry sauce that is perfect for all barbecue evenings. Try them once! We wouldn't be surprised if you snack on them for more than just grilling.
For approx. 500 g BBQ strawberry sauce:
- 180g onions, halved
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 30 g of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon hot paprika powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika powder
- 40 g Apfellessig
- 300g strawberries
- 40 g Worcestershiresauce
- 100 g Ketchup
- 40g brown sugar or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 EL Senfkörner
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 TL Pfeffer
Chop the onions, strawberries and garlic in the mixing bowl for 5 minutes at level 5. Then add the olive oil and sauté everything for 6 minutes at level 1 and at 120 degrees with anti-clockwise rotation. Then add both types of paprika powder and continue to steam for another minute using the same settings. Now add the remaining ingredients and place the cooking insert on the lid instead of the measuring cup so that it serves as a splash guard. Continue steaming the strawberry sauce using the same settings for 20 minutes. In the meantime you can check the consistency. If the BBQ sauce becomes too thick, add a little water to thin it out. Finally, season to taste and pour into glasses.
