First of all, you can of course add any sauce you likeServe spaghetti. However, our tip is that you choose red or green sauces, as these fit the theme much better than white ones, for example. Although you can also color sauces with food coloring, there is a risk that the sauce for your Halloween spaghetti will ultimately take on an unappetizing color. Decide for yourself whether you want to risk it.

Coloring Halloween spaghetti

Probably the easiest idea to serve interesting pasta would be to color the spaghetti for Halloween. Simply add a few drops of food coloring to the cooked spaghetti and stir until the color is evenly distributed. Green Halloween spaghetti goes very wellwith a pesto sauce, while black or dark purple also work well with red sauce.

Another variation is to divide the cooked noodles into two or three bowls and color each portion a different color. You then combine these colors on the plate. Of course, we also recommend choosing typical Halloween colors such as poison green, orange, purple or red.

Black spaghetti for Halloween party

By the way, you can buy black pasta ready-made. Squid ink is usually used, which you can also buy separately, to color homemade pasta dough. However, if you want to use the classic food colors, either choose a black version or mix blue, red and green to create a dark gray.

Don't such eyes really look impressive? Depending on what type of spaghetti you made, you can prepare it in different ways. For example, meatballs that you add olive rings (for the iris) and mozzarella slices (for the whites of the eyes) are well suited. Alternatively, mini mozzarella can be spread over the served sauce and black or green olive rings on top.

Whole faces

As usual, arrange the spaghetti and the sauce on top and then use additional products to create a whole face instead of just eyes. For the eyes, for example, you can use halved boiled eggs and add olive rings or other things as described above. A mouth can easily be made from carrots or peppers and any vegetable can also be used to make a nose. In principle, all that is required here is a little creativity.

If some of the noodles don't fall through the openings on their own, you can pull some out yourself. Now add a dollop of sauce and the fancy Halloween spaghetti is ready to be served. By the way, the Halloween noodles in peppers look in groupson a buffet tablealso very attractive.

  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 45g grated Parmesan
  • 110 g prosciutto strips
  • 60g breadcrumbs

  • kosher salt
  • Aluminum foil, heatproof bowl, baking spray

Halloween Brain Recipes – Here’s how to do it:

Preheat the oven to 230 degrees. Cook the spaghetti in salted water according to the package instructions and then drain. You then have to make a shape for the brain for Halloween.

Take the bowl and aluminum foil. First, line the inside of the bowl with foil. Then cut two 60 cm long pieces from the foil, crumple them both into an oval shape and place them next to each other in the bowl. Using another and longer piece of foil from which to form a roll, separate the bowl in half to create the hollow typical of the brain (you can also start with the roll). Place a smooth piece of foil over the top and press it into place. Spray your finished brain baking pan with baking spray.

Fill the spaghetti into the mold

So that the brain shape holds afterwards and the noodles don't fall apart, you have to prepare a “glue” for the Halloween spaghetti. To do this, mix the eggs with half of the Parmesan, the mozzarella and the sauce (save a small amount for later) and stir in the spaghetti. Pour about two-thirds of the egg spaghetti into the bowl and press the noodles down a little. Then distribute halfProscuittoover the middle area of the bowl and then the meatballs and another layer of prosciutto with the rest of the ham. Add the rest of the spaghetti on top.

Now mix the olive oil with the breadcrumbs and the remaining Parmesan and distribute the mixture evenly over your spaghetti. Bake for 50 minutes or until the breadcrumbs begin to turn golden brown. Then let the brain cool slightly before transferring it to a plate by turning the mold inside out. The hollow should now point upwards. Fill them with the remaining marinara sauce. The dish is now ready and you can serve the food with a brain look for Halloween.
