For the fruit puree:

  • 4 fresh peaches, diced
  • 120g raspberries
  • 300 ml water

For the syrup:

  • 100g sugar
  • 120ml water

For the lemonade (8 drinks):

  • 1.7 liters of cold water
  • Juice of about 4 lemons
  • Ice cubes
  • optional for garnish: raspberries, peach slices, mint sprigs

Puree the ingredients for the fruit puree in a blender. Sieve the puree through a fine sieve and collect the juice in a bowl. The seeds and skin of the fruit should remain in the sieve. Help with a spoon. Set the bowl aside. To make the syrup, heat the water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat and cook the liquid until the sugar dissolves and the consistency of syrup is formed, about 3 minutes. Then let the syrup cool down a bit.

In the meantimeprepare the lemonadeby mixing water, lemon juice and ice cubes in a jug. Now stir in the syrup and fruit puree and keep the finished lemonade cold in the refrigerator until serving. You can then garnish any summer drink with fruit and mint.

  • 400g rhubarb, sliced
  • 200g sugar

  • 120 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • Ice cubes

First, prepare the syrup by bringing rhubarb, sugar and water to a boil in a saucepan over medium heat. Then turn the heat down to low and simmer for about 20 to 25 minutes, until the rhubarb is soft. Then strain the liquid through a fine sieve into a bowl. Press the syrup through the sieve with the back of a spoon to help a little. Chill the syrup in the refrigerator.

For the mint syrup:

  • 240ml water
  • 200g sugar
  • 40 g mint leaves, chopped or coarsely chopped

For the lemonade (1 drink):

  • 85 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 45 ml mint syrup
  • Seltzer

To make the syrup, heat the water and sugar and cook, stirring constantly, until the sugar is dissolved. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the chopped mint leaves. For the blackberry syrup:

  • 240ml water
  • 200g sugar
  • 225g blackberries

For the Mojito (1 drink):

  • 3-4 fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • 40 – 55 ml Brombeersirup
  • 14 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 40 ml white rum
  • 55 ml seltzer
  • optional for garnish: mint leaves, lime slices, fresh blackberries

Bring the blackberries, sugar and water to the boil in a saucepan over medium heat and then simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes. Remove the pot from the heat and mash the blackberries with a potato masher. Allow the syrup to cool for 10 to 15 minutes, then strain it through a fine sieve into a bowl. Squeeze the mixture with a spoon to get as much juice as possible. You can discard the pulp. You can now store the syrup in a sealed container in the refrigerator for about 3 weeks.

Put the mint leaves, blackberry syrup, lime juice, rum and ice cubes in a glass and mix everything together well. Top with seltzer and garnish with lime slices, blackberries, and mint leaves, if desired.

Summer drinks with Prosecco and strawberries

  • 750 ml Prosecco
  • 450g strawberries
  • 50g sugar

Puree the strawberries together with the sugar and lemon juice in a blender. Then sieve the puree through a fine sieve into a jug. You can discard the pulp and seeds. Add the Prosecco.

Tipp:You can also make this refreshing drink with any other fruit puree. For example, blackberries or raspberries are also very suitable. Just experiment.

Make your own summer drinks with blackcurrants and sparkling wine

The blackcurrant is known for its strong aroma, which is perfect for juices and other drinks. But syrup can also be wonderfully made from these fruits. Below we have a recipe for a fruity aperitifwith sparkling wineas well as for a cassis syrup.

For 2 glasses:

  • 250 ml Cassis-Muttersaft
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 3 sprigs of rosemary
  • 300 ml dry, chilled sparkling wine

If you would like to make this delicious version of summer drinks yourself, you first have to make the cassis syrup yourself. Bring the juice and sugar to the boil in a saucepan and simmer over low heat until the sugar has completely dissolved. Add the rosemary sprigs and cook for another 15 minutes. Then fill the resulting cassis syrup into single cube molds (approx. 12 ice cubes) and freeze it overnight after it has cooled.

Pour 150 ml of sparkling wine into two glasses and then add one or two cassis ice cubes. If you wish, you can decorate each glass with a sprig of rosemary. The summer drink is ready to serve!

Make your own delicious drinks for the summer – honeydew melon, cucumber and gin

For the honeydew melon syrup:

  • 230ml water
  • 200g sugar
  • 320 g cantaloupe (buttermelon), cut into pieces

For a drink:

  • 55 ml honeydew melon syrup
  • 40 ml Gin
  • 30 ml seltzer
  • Melon pieces or balls
  • Cucumber slices
  • Ice cubes
  • fresh mint leaves

In a small saucepan, heat the water and sugar and cook for about 30 seconds. Remove the pot from the heat and allow the syrup to cool. Then puree the melon pieces together with the syrup in a blender. Add ice and mint leaves, gin and syrup to a cocktail mixing bowl and shake for about 30 seconds. Givea few ice cubes, melon balls and cucumber slices into a large glass and then pour the drink from the mixing cup into it. Fill the glass with seltzer, stir and serve the finished drink!

Iced tea with peach syrup

This time you use, among other things, homemade peach syrup. You should prepare the iced tea the day before serving.

For the peach syrup:

  • 2 peaches
  • 200 g caster sugar (or regular)
  • 230ml water

For 8 drinks:

  • 2 peaches
  • 1.5 liters of cold water
  • 2 tsp green tea leaves

Beginwith the iced tea: Slice the peaches and place them in a large mason jar or other container with the water. Put the tea leaves in a tea strainer and hang it in the peach water. Let the tea leaves steep in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours. Then remove them.

Then prepare the syrup by roughly dicing the peaches and bringing them to the boil in a saucepan with the water and sugar. Let the syrup simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes. In between, you can mash the peaches a little so that they release more juice. Remove the pot from the heat and allow the syrup to cool, then separate it from the pulp using a fine sieve. The finished peach syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a month.

To finish the iced tea, simply add a tablespoon of syrup to each glass and top with iced tea. It's that easy to make homemade iced tea for delicious summer drinks!
