Ingredients for the cake
- 1 sweet onion
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 fresh puff pastry
- 1 No
- 1 tbsp water
- 60 g Yoghurt
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
- Salt
- Pfeffer
Prepare onion cake with puff pastry
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Cut the onion into strips.
- Put the olive oil in a pan, heat it briefly and fry the onion strips until they are soft and slightly translucent. Cook the onion slowly to bring out the sweetness.
- Remove the onion from the pan and let it cool.
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut 1cm wide strips from each side. Leave them aside.
- Place the puff pastry on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Whisk the egg in a small bowl and lightly brush the puff pastry with it.
- Place the cut pieces of puff pastry on the edges and brush them with the egg mixture too.
