Wednesday make-up on children's faces: DIY with free stencils & ideas

In general, it is the colors that make up the makeup for the Wednesday costume. White skin and black lips, eyebrows and eyelashes are actually sufficiently recognizable if the rest of the disguise also fits. But it's far too boring for smaller girls, isn't it? If you want to do makeup for kids like Wednesday, you can work with motifs instead.

If you look at the examples of the Addams' daughter, you'll quickly realize that creating her silhouette isn't all that difficult. Nevertheless, we would like to help you with a few stencils that you can download for free. How to work with them:

  • Cut out the desired motif (the entire rectangle).
  • Then cut out the motif with a cutter.
  • Hold the rectangle with the design cut out at the desired location on the face (e.g. the forehead).
  • Dab the design with a make-up sponge that you have previously dabbed in black face make-up.

This main motif should be the final step. So before you apply it, make up any backgrounds or other images first. Then you can do your makeup on Wednesday.

In thePDF fileYou will find stencils for Wednesday's hair as well as for the ice cold hand, a bat and bat wings, a feather and umbrellas.

It doesn't have to be anything complicated. For starters, it's enough to simply apply makeup to the silhouette of the braids and leave the face blank. Just paint it with white paint or maybe add the collar. With a few simple additional details like bat wings or a spider web you get oneHalloween makeup that everyone will recognize.

Even a mouth without any other facial features makes a big difference and is a good alternative for beginners. If you want to try your eyes and nose but aren't sure, it's best to practice on paper or the back of your hand beforehand to get a feel for it.

Smooth color transitions for rainbows

You can create a colored background on the forehead before moving on to the subjects. Whether it's a colorful designlike the rainbowleft or a simple shading from white to black, the procedure is always the same:

  • You start with the lightest color and slowly work your way to the darkest/strongest.
  • To do this, use a make-up sponge that you dab into the color and then onto your skin.
  • Then rinse the sponge well and pick up the next darker color.
  • Dab this onto the next free area. Both colors should overlap to create an even color transition.
  • Allow the colors to dry a little before painting any other motifs over them.
