Today we present a bright Mediterranean-style house with a large courtyard, located in San Isidro - a district of the Peruvian capital Lima. The atrium house in Peru was designed by Cynthia Seinfeld and is characterized by a large patio, which is typical of many Spanish houses. The house has a flat roof and has an area of 850 square meters spread over three floors.
The idea behind thearchitectureand the design of the house is to create a central open space that is suitable for habitation by different generations. The house has large windows that allow passage between rooms in the interior part of the house. The vertical development offers an opportunity for shared activities and creates a connection between indoor and outdoor space. The predominant colors for the facade and furnishings are light and, together with the windows, place great value on the light in the house.
The whole composition of the atrium house refers to the inner courtyard, which is planted with a tree. The clear view of the sky in the middle of the house allows for peace and individuality even in the city. In addition to the tree outside, there are plant pots on the balcony and at the entrance. The concept of open space is also carried over into the interior of the house. The living room is spacious, modernly furnished and is in harmony with the overallarchitecture.
