- 4 small apples
- 250 g vegan dark chocolate
- Peel the apples, core them and cut them into small cubes. Cover just with water in a pot and bring to the boil. Simmer over medium heat until the apples are soft, about 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, carefully melt the dark chocolate in a water bath or a heatproof bowl over a pot of hot water. Stir regularly to ensure nothing burns.
- Drain the excess water from the cooked apples and puree the apple pieces in a food processor or with a hand blender until smooth.
- Add the liquid chocolate to the applesauce and mix well again until a homogeneous mass is formed.
- Pour the mixture into a springform pan (approx. 20 cm in diameter) lined with baking paper and smooth it out.
- Leave to solidify in the refrigerator overnight, but at least 8 hours.
- Before serving, dust the tart with a little cocoa if desired.
