DIY wine rack from a chest of drawers for all wine lovers

If you're a lover of good wine and like to show off your inexpensive pieces, this DIY wine rack made from an old dresser and roof tiles is for you! You don't need to have any special skills for the project. You will be amazed at how easy the shelf is to recreate.

If you don't have an old chest of drawers that you can use for the DIY wine rack, you can stop by a thrift store or an antique store, or you can buy a new one. This depends entirely on your taste and the budget you have set.

Stack the bricks on top of each other in the chest of drawers. A small disadvantage with the chest of drawers in the example was the fact that it was divided into individual drawers and that it did not represent an empty frame after the drawers were removed. For this reason, the bricks cannot be arranged one on top of the other as you wish because you are limited by the height of each compartment. So you should either buy a chest of drawers for the wine rack that is not just divided into boards or you can simply remove them so that only the outer frame remains. Or you can only leave two compartments in total and fill them with bricks. This might even be the better option, as it allows the weight of the bricks to be held better. Now you can arrange the roof tiles the way you like.

Arrange the roof tiles

The layout of the chest of drawers prevented the bricks for the wine rack from being continuously stacked on top of each other, which is again the case in the next picture.

By reusing an old chest of drawers and old roof tiles, you can not only save money, but you also protect the environment in some way. The best thing is that you for thisprojectYou don't even need nails, screws or tools to make the wine rack, it's that easy. And the motto of this project is: “Trust cheap on the wine rack, but not on the wine itself.”

Have fun replicating it! We wish you pleasant evenings in good company with delicious wine!
