  • Fold it in half and form the shape of a petal of the size you want.
  • Twist the wire ends several times at the desired location.
  • Then fold the end back in the opposite direction, i.e. along the petal you just formed.
  • Put the ends through the loop and bring them back to the other petal end, where you thread them through the loop again.

  • Depending on how much wire you still have to stick out, you can repeat the whole thing one more time or move on to the next step.
  • Twist the remaining ends together and you will have your first petal.

  • Then bring all four ends together so that you have a sheet of four wires.
  • Now tie the petals to the wire.
  • Wrap the wire with florist's tape. Also include the leaves below.

With wire you can make such nice thingsMake bookmarks, which are also perfect as a gift. You will also need wire cutters and nippers to cut the wire, as well as a round object to help you shape it (a pen, for example).

It's best to start at the spiral and then work your way to the other end. You are welcome to come up with a different shape for the tulip. Just experiment a bit. Only cut off the excess wire when the shape is finished. This will prevent the wire from turning out to be too short.
