First you need to bake the chocolate cake base, if you buy a ready-made base, you can skip this step and start preparing the dessert straight away. For the chocolate cake base: Grease a 28 cm diameter springform pan. Then preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Mix the softened butter with the sugar until smooth. Then add the eggs and mix them. In the meantime, you can mix the flour with the cocoa powder and the baking powder in another bowl and then gradually add it to the egg mixture. At the end, slowly add the milk in a thin stream, stirring constantly. Pour the finished dough into the mold and smooth the surface with a knife. Bake the chocolate base for 30 – 35 minutes (toothpick test!) at 170 degrees without a fan. After the cake base has cooled, cut it horizontally into three layers. Then use glasses to cut out 30 equally sized circles and (optionally) pour the cherry liqueur over them.

Mix the vanilla pudding with 50 g of black chocolate shavings, drain the pitted sour cherries and reserve 125 ml of the juice. Mix the whipped cream with the powdered sugar and vanilla sugar in another bowl.

Place 1 circle of chocolate cake base on the bottom of the cup, then spread vanilla pudding with the chocolate shavings over it, garnish with sour cherries, a little sour cherry juice and whipped cream.
