In general, you proceed in the same way as with a classic Advent wreath. Both LED stick candles and pillar candles can be placed or placed on the same stands as normal candles. However, use candlesticks without needles. The advantage of pillar candles is that they can also stand without a stand. But also think about the LED tea lights! They are ideal for four lanterns that you place in the wreath or on the wooden board!

You can play with the candle sizes to give the impression that candles have already burned out (the one from the first Advent is logically the smallest).

Then all that's left is to come up with a beautiful arrangement and you can go from simple and round to lush and elongated in shape to the classic made of fir greenery and Christmas balls.

  • For an elongated and square “wreath”

Yes, we know that this isn't actually a wreath, but it still looks very nice and this variant also fulfills its function: there is a candle for every Advent. Place pillar candles on a board, tray or low wooden box, or spread your decorations loosely on a table runner. There are no rules!

A square decorative plate or a tray is also ideal as a base. Place the pillar candles in the four corners and place a few Christmas tree baubles in the middle. If you find table candles more elegant, you don't have to do without them for this option. Although they cannot stand freely like pillar candles, you can place them in a beautiful stand, each candle individually, on a plate orDistribute tray.

  • Round, with wreath blank

A blank is a wonderful base if you also want to stick or glue. For example, you can hollow out a floral foam wreath for table candles and then insert them into it. Another variation would be to get a round candlestick and simply place it inside a wreath, as was done in this example. You can then design the surroundings as you wish.

  • In a decorative bowl

Fill a decorative bowl or beautiful bowl with floral foam and you can then insert stick candles into it. Afterwards, the moss can not only be wonderfully spread around it, but also watered, as the floral foam absorbs moisture when it is watered. You also have the option of inserting any other plant-based decorative elements, etcbeautiful Advent arrangementto produce.

  • Candlestick as a base

If you place a ready-made metal candlestick, you can place pine greenery or other evergreen branches such as thuja and other decorations around it. You can tie it up with floral wire or just lay it loosely around it on the table. The latter is advantageous if you want to use fresh twigs. Since they are not tied down, you can always replace them once they start to wilt.

You can also use ready-made candlesticks for hanging Advent wreaths, as they are easy to hang up. And since you don't use real candles, there is no risk of fire if the wreath should fall down and you don't have to expect drops of wax on the floor.Take a look herea few beautiful hanging Advent wreaths.

  • Typical Christmas material? That doesn't have to be the case!

When you think of Christmas decorations, you usually imagine the colors dark green, red and white, pine branches, pine cones and Christmas balls,Tangerines and orangesand similar things. But who says you have to follow this “rule”? That's right, nobody! The Advent wreath with LED candles also serves its purpose if you use more unusual materials. How about dried flowers, for example?
