Wrapping gifts is an art in itself. Colorful wrapping paper and a bow are often enough, but this year experiment with new, unique designs. Surprise your loved ones with originally wrapped gifts this Christmas, because unwrapping them is twice as fun as the gift itself! We have put together some great instructions on wrapping Christmas presents that could help you.
If you don't have time to experiment with colorful designs, then stick to the rule “less is more”. Use plain wrapping paper and decorate the packaging with a decorative item such as a photo or a green branch.
This guide uses plain white sheets of paper instead of typical wrapping paper. Aside from the obvious eco-friendly value, packing can be done at the last minute. Everyone has a blank sheet of paper at home, right?
You need:Sheet of white paper, a string, tape, small twigs and photos of your choice
First a few tips:
– the white paper is slightly thicker and more difficult to fold than typical wrapping paper. Try to work as cleanly as possible.
– It would be better if your gifts have regular shapes, but even if the object is asymmetrical, you can put it in a rectangular gift box.
– Don’t forget to remove all price tags.
1. Place the object upside down on the paper. About in the middle.
2. Fold the paper around the gift. If you're working with hard paper, make creases around the edges. Secure with a piece of tape.
3. On the side of your package, fold the paper into the shape of two triangles, then tape them together. Repeat the same on the other side.
4. Wrap a string around the gift and tie it tightly.
5. Add a decoration under the bow - a photo or a small twig.
A great idea that not only looks beautiful, but also smells wonderful. Bake gift tags from gingerbread dough. The trick here is to make two holes with a ballpoint pen so that you can then thread a thin ribbon.
Use different cookie cutters for each family member - a gingerbread man for dad, a heart for mom, a star for sister, etc.
The modeling clay is a versatile material that can also be used in packaging. For example, make gift tags.
Match the colors of the different elements. Wrapping paper in gold and white, ribbons and thread in black and white, gold Christmas ball and green pine branch as an accent.
Cut a Styrofoam ball in half and glue it to the paper. Cut off one end of the cotton swab and insert it into the Styrofoam ball. Glue a straw to the bottom as a “stem”.
With transparent liquid adhesive a featherdraw on the kraft paper. While the glue has not yet dried, sprinkle glitter dust. Shake off the excess glitter powder. Mist with hairspray to set the glitter.
This is how you can package socks nicely for Christmas.
