So, how do you fold a fitted sheet without investing a lot of time and nerves? Get your closet organized in 3..., 2..., 1...
Step 1: Turn the sheet over
A notice:To make things a little clearer, we used a children's sheet to illustrate this. This is also a good option to practice the individual steps a little before moving on to the large fitted sheet.
The sheet should be sort of upside down (the left side facing you) when you start. Hang the corners on your hands, with the long side on top.
Place the right corner over the left (or vice versa if that's more convenient for you). To do this, turn the bed sheet over again so that it is the right way up. The seams on both corners are aligned.

Step 2: Tighten the bed sheet again
Now exchange hands. Hold your right hand in the two corners that have just been placed on top of each other and with your left hand move down along the elastic to the other two corners of the sheet in order to place them neatly together too.
As you did at the beginning, lift the sheet up, the corners on your hands.
Repeat the whole thing one more time so that you have finally placed all four corners on top of each other. You will receive a small rectangle with the corners resting on it.
You can also do all of the steps mentioned above on the floor or on a large table if you find it too awkward to hold the sheet at first.
Step 3: Fold or roll the fitted sheet
How do I then fold the fitted sheet for the closet?
Now it is best to place the bed sheet in front of you (on the floor, the sofa, the ironing board or a table). Then fold one of the long sides over to the middle and then the opposite side as well. By folding the fitted sheet in this way, you will end up with a narrow strip.
Now fold the two ends of this strip inwards so that you get a square or small rectangle. Alternatively, you can simply roll up the strip if you prefer this method of storage.
