Edible Gifts for Christmas – Peanut Butter Balls
Delicious peanut balls that are great to snack on and for everyonewho likes peanut butter, to be liked. You can make them with chocolate or use coconut instead - it's purely a matter of taste. Or simply make a few of both variants. Colorful sprinkles are also suitable for rolling. How to prepare the balls as edible gifts for Christmas:
- 40 g dark chocolate or desiccated coconut
- 340g peanut butter
- ½ TL Vanilleextrakt
- 100g powdered sugar
Grate the chocolate finely into a bowl. In another bowl, mix the peanut butter well with the vanilla extract and then gradually add the sugar. Then form small balls from this mixture and roll them in the chocolate shavings. Alternatively, you can melt the chocolate in a water bath and then dip the balls in to coat them completely in chocolate.

Give away food in the form of marzipan stars
Honestly, what would Christmas be without it?the wonderful marzipan? That's why they're not missing from our list of edible gifts for Christmas. You make the marzipan paste yourself using the following recipe and then cut out stars (or other shapes). Of course you can also buy ready-made marzipan paste.
- 150 g ground almonds
- 50 g caster sugar
- 175g powdered sugar
- 1 egg white of a medium egg
- a few drops of almond essence
- Chocolate or powdered sugar to decorate
Mix the almonds with the caster sugar and the powdered sugar with a hand mixer until you get a smooth mixture, but do not overdo the mixing time. Then knead the egg white and essence and form a ball. Sprinkle your work surface with powdered sugar and roll out the mixture to about a centimeter thickness. Use a star cutter or other shape to cut out stars that you can sprinkle with powdered sugar or decorate with melted chocolate.
Edible gifts for Christmas – hazelnut spread
Prepare your own hazelnut creamas a spreadto. And you can then give away a few glasses and use them as edible gifts for Christmas. Perfect if you want to make a delicious Christmas present yourself.
- 100 g blanched hazelnuts
- 300g milk chocolate, crumbled
- 100g dark chocolate, crumbled
- 75g powdered sugar
- 125 ml vegetable oil
- 1/2 TL Vanilleextrakt
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees, spread the hazelnuts on a baking tray and roast them for 5 to 10 minutes. Then set them aside to cool.
In the meantime, melt both types of chocolate in a water bath. Grind the nuts in a blender, add the sugar and continue mixing, then add the melted chocolate, oil and vanilla. Fill the finished cream into sterilized jam jars, which you can then decorate with bows and ribbons for attractive culinary gifts.
Gifts from the kitchen – espresso martini liqueur
With all the sweets, one candelicious drinkof course not missing either. Bottled in a pretty glass bottle, this espresso martini liqueur will not only delight the senses of taste, but also the eye. If you would like to make this liqueur yourself as an edible gift for Christmas, you will need:
- 250 ml Espresso
- 300 g caster sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla paste
- 700 ml Vodka
Heat the espresso, sugar and vanilla in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir regularly to help the sugar dissolve faster. Then briefly increase the heat and let the liquid boil for 5 minutes until it has a syrupy consistency. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the vodka. Once the liqueur has cooled completely, you can fill it into sterilized bottles and seal them.
