- First, lay out your necklaces, old chains and threaded beads unconnected on a table.
- If you use string and beads, make sure you have extra string at both ends to make loops for the rubber connectors.
- Take your rubber connectors and attach one connector to each end of the chain. Attach it to the chain and/or cord, depending on what you use.
- For necklaces made with string and beads, attach the connector to the string and use a bead to double knot it.

Required:
- Pearls
- 4mm and 6mm thick jump rings
- Chain
- Grown up
- Rubber glasses holder
- Round-nose pliers, flat-nose pliers, wire cutters
Directions:
- First, cut two pieces of approximately 5 cm long chain and attach them to each glasses holder using a 4 mm wide jump ring. A combination of gold, amethyst and pewter has been chosen for these glasses holders - you can choose any color palette you like.
- Attach the stone connectors to each end of the 5cm chain with 4mm jump rings. Using the eye pins, attach several beaded links with the stones and beads of your choice.
- Connect your links together in a flattering order - it's helpful to alternate beads and stones/connectors. A few connecting pieces have also been incorporated for the purple splash of color. When adding connectors, use 4mm jump rings on both loops to attach the eye pins. Create two symmetrical strands for each side of the sunglasses holder.
- Connect the middle strand with a stone connector, again using 4mm jump rings on either side to allow for more movement.
- Thread the rubber holders onto each side of the sunglasses.
- Take a 6mm open jump ring and press it around the center of the rubber holder to create a loop. Make sure the bracket is not too tight or too loose (so it can move but not fall off) before pressing it shut.

Directions:
- Cut the cord to your desired length. Look for a length that is comfortable when wearing the glasses on your face and around your neck.
- Take a crimp bead and a plastic eyeglass holder or eyeglass ring. Thread one end of the wire through the crimp bead and then through a plastic loop on the glasses holder. Secure the crimp bead by squeezing it closed with the pliers.
- Start threading the beads onto the cord. Continue stringing the beads until you reach the end of the wire or string.
- Thread the other crimp bead onto the wire or cord so that it sits next to the last bead that was threaded on. After the crimp bead, add the second glasses holder or jump ring. Thread the wire or cord back through the crimp bead. Insert the loose end through the end beads.
