Basic recipe for cheese waffles

For 1 waffle:

  • 1 medium or large egg
  • 50 g grated mozzarella (fresh, home-grated is less suitable) or any other cheese
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Pfeffer

While the waffle iron is heating, whisk the egg and then lift the eggfresh mozzarellaunder. Season with pepper and salt and add a little butter to the iron. As soon as it is melted and well distributed, add the batter and bake the cheese waffles until golden brown and crispy. Salty waffles of this type taste good both warm and cold.

Keto pizza waffle recipe

For 2 waffles:

  • 1 pinch of Italian spice mix
  • 1 tbsp pizza sauce with no added sugar
  • Any grated cheese and salami as a topping

Whisk the egg with the spice mixture and fold in the grated cheese while the waffle iron is heating up. Then add a teaspoon of cheese and let it melt for about 30 seconds. Then add half of the waffle batter and bake until golden brown, about 4 minutes. Remove the cheese waffle and put the rest of the batter in the iron to bake a second one.

Prepare savory waffle batter with jalapeno

For 2 waffles:

  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 to 3 jalapenos, deseeded, one diced, the others cut into strips
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 225g cream cheese
  • 115g grated cheddar
  • 3 THE Kokosmehl
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 TL Himalayasalz

Fry the bacon in a pan until crispy. In the meantime, mix the dry ingredients and beat the cream cheese in a separate bowl until creamy. Heat the waffle iron and grease it. Whisk the eggs and fold in half of the cream cheese and the cheese, followed by the dry ingredients. Finally, fold in the diced jalapenos.

Bake the cheese waffles by first putting half of the batter in the iron, removing the waffle after about 5 minutes and then baking the other half. Serve the chaffles with the remaining cream cheese, bacon and remaining jalapenos.

Pumpkin chaffles

For 2 cheese waffles:

  • 1 No
  • 55g mozzarella, grated
  • 1 1/2 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • 1 The Mandelmehl
  • 1 tbsp sweetener
  • 2 TL Stage
  • 1 tsp cream cheese
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 TL Vanilleextrakt
  • 1 tsp maple syrup

For the filling:

  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp sweetener in powder form (e.g. powdered sugar)
  • 1/4 TL Vanilleextrakt

While the waffle iron is warming up, combine all the batter ingredients in a bowl, then add half to the iron and bake for three to five minutes. Repeat with the other half of the dough. While the cheese waffles are cooling, you can prepare the filling, which you will then distribute between the two waffles. Add cream, nuts or syrup as desired.

Recipe with cinnamon, vanilla and almond flour

For 2 Keto Chaffles:

  • 1 No
  • 115g grated mozzarella
  • 1 The Mandelmehl
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 TL Vanilleextrakt
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • Grease for the waffle iron

Mix the egg with the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients and add them to the egg. Sweet recipe with blueberries and sweetener

For 5 cheese waffles:

  • 2 Owner
  • 115g grated mozzarella
  • 2 The Mandelmehl
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp Swerve sweetener (or other)
  • 3 tbsp blueberries

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. You can also add the cheese at the end. Then heat the waffle iron, grease it and then pour about a fifth of the batter into the iron. Bake the cheese waffle for three to five minutes. You can check the waffle every now and then. Serve the waffles sprinkled with powdered sugar or keto syrup.

Savory waffle sticks with garlic

For 8 sticks:

  • 1 medium egg
  • 55g grated mozzarella
  • 2 The Mandelmehl
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 TL Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt

For the topping:

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 25 g mozzarella, grated

Heat the waffle iron. In the meantime, beat the egg and add the spices, almond flour and finally the cheese. Grease the waffle iron and bake the first chaffle (approx. 5 minutes). Don't put too much batter in the waffle iron as it will run out the sides. Cut the finished waffles into sticks, brush them with the butter and sprinkle them with the garlic powder and mozzarella. Now grill the sticks on a grill for about 2 to 3 minutes until they are crispy (alternatively in the pan or in the oven).

For 2 waffles:

  • 220 g grated zucchini
  • 1 No
  • 55g grated Parmesan
  • 25g grated mozzarella
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 TL Pfeffer

Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon salt over the grated zucchini and let it sit while you prepare the rest. To do this, break the egg, season it with 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper and add the cheese. Now put the zucchini in a sieve and squeeze out the excess water with your hands. Now fold the zucchini into the dough.

Spread one to two tablespoons of Parmesan on the hot waffle iron and add about a quarter of the batter, over which you also spread one to two tablespoons of Parmesan. Depending on the size of the waffle iron, each cheese waffle takes 4 to 8 minutes. If you are using a mini waffle iron, the batter should be enough for four waffles.

Hearty waffles with ham and cheese

You can easily make hearty cheese waffles with ham by adding pieces of ham and any seasonings such as salt, pepper and garlic to the basic recipe. Instead of mozzarella, you can use other cheese (e.g. Swiss cheese) to make the chaffles taste even spicier. You can also make chaffles using just the basic recipe and then simply use the ham and additional cheese if desired as a topping between two waffles to create a delicious sandwich.

Oreo Chaffles

For 2 cheese waffles:

  • 1 No
  • 1 1/2 tbsp ungesüßter Cocoa
  • 2 tbsp sweetener
  • 1 EL Stage
  • 1 TL Coconut mist
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 TL Vanilleextrakt

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and heat the waffle iron. If using a mini waffle maker, bake half the batter and then the other half for 3 to 5 minutes each. You can serve these simple cheese waffles with a dollop of whipped cream and, if you like, fruit.

Keto waffles with sausage gravy

For 2 waffles:

  • 1 No
  • 55g grated mozzarella
  • 1 TL Coconut mist
  • 1 tsp water
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt

For the sauce:

  • Breakfast sausage, cooked and chopped
  • 3 tbsp chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp whipped cream
  • 2 tsp cream cheese
  • 1 pinch of garlic powder
  • pepper and salt
  • optional: 1 pinch of onion powder

Heat the waffle iron while mixing the cheese waffle ingredients together. Grease the iron and bake two waffles one after the other for 4 minutes each. While the waffles are cooling, prepare the sauce. Then put the cooked and diced sausage together with the remaining ingredients in a pan in which they are heated. After 5 to 7 minutes of cooking or when the sauce becomes a little thicker, you can season it with salt and pepper and spread it over the waffles.

Filled chaffles with vanilla cream

For 4 cheese waffles:

  • 2 Owner
  • 55g cream cheese
  • 1 THE Kokosmehl
  • 1 EL Stage
  • 1 TL Vanilleextrakt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 TL Steviapulver

For the filling:

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 EL Steviapulver
  • 1/4 TL Xanthan
  • 240 ml Sahne
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla extract

Since the filling will rest in the fridge for a while, it's best to start with it. Whisk the egg yolk well with the stevia, then add the xanthan gum. Heat the cream in a saucepan and, before it starts to boil, add the egg mixture, stirring quickly and constantly. Continue stirring continuously until the mixture thickens and then for another 20 to 30 seconds. Turn off the heat and stir for another 20 to 30 seconds.

Stir in the vanilla and then press the mixture through a fine sieve into a container. Cover thesweet vanilla creamthen wipe it off with kitchen paper, making sure it touches the cream. This way you avoid a skin forming as it cools. Place the cream for the cheese waffles in the refrigerator for an hour.

To make the waffles, simply mix all the ingredients together while the waffle iron is heating up. Then put about a quarter of the dough in the iron and bake for 5 to 6 minutes. Repeat with the remaining batter so that you end up with a total of 4 waffles.

Pour the cream into a bowl and stir. If the cream is too thick, you can add a little cream. Then put the cream in a piping bag, pierce the side of each waffle with a knife to create a pocket and use the piping bag to put the cream in there. You can then sprinkle the cheese wafers with suitable powdered sugar.
