Anyone with a sweet tooth will be delighted with a delicious Tiramisu Heart - a classic heart-shaped Tiramisu cake. Of course, you are welcome to choose tiramisu recipe variations, it just depends on the shape. And both of them get something out of the gift - the perfect end to the romantic evening or day. But how could you make a tiramisu heart like this? We have collected ideas for you.

How is the tiramisu heart made?

Probably the easiest way to get a heart shape for the tiramisu is to use a suitable baking pan. You can currently get one of these in many supermarkets and shops depending on the season, but also online. Now prepare your tiramisu in this form as usual. If you use your favorite recipe, the quantities given will probably make more than you need for the mold. Simply apply the desired amount of cream. You can use the rest for muffin cups or a mini baking pan to use it up.

The heart shape can also be easily formed with your hands. So if you want to spontaneously make a tiramisu heart, choose a cookie base (e.g. the one from the recipe below) and form it into a heart-shaped base on which you spread the cream. It doesn't have to be perfect. It is enough if the heart shape is indicated.

You could also prepare the tiramisu as usual on the baking tray and then simply cut or cut out a heart shape. You can then spread some cream around the edge. The cocoa is then sprinkled over the tiramisu heart. Would you like to try out a new recipe? Then choose one of our variants that are specifically designed for tiramisu hearts.

Recipe for Amaretto Tiramisu Heart without baking

The amount of hearts that come out of this tiramisu heart recipe depends on the size of the molds used:

  • 30 Amaretto Kekse
  • 60 ml espresso coffee, cooled to room temperature
  • 225g unsweetened whipped cream
  • 3 Owner
  • 8 tbsp sugar
  • 240 g Mascarpone
  • Cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • Heart shaped molds

To make the tiramisu heart, chop up the Amaretto biscuits and moisten them with the espresso. Mix the whipped cream with 2 tablespoons of sugar in a bowl and separate the whites and egg yolks in two other bowls. Then beat the egg whites until stiff, beat the egg yolks with the remaining 6 tablespoons of sugar and fold them into the whipped cream. Add the mascarpone and place the molds on plates.

Spread the crumbled and soft cookies into it and press them to create a cake base that is about 6 mm thick. Spread a layer of cream about twice as thick on top. Repeat one more time so that you have a total of two biscuit and two cream layers. You can then carefully remove the mold and dust the tiramisu heart with cocoa powder. To do this, strain it through a fine sieve. Store the hearts in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Tipp: You can use the finished tiramisu hearttop with a sauceand quickly and easily transform it into a strawberry tiramisu heart or raspberry tiramisu heart as desired. A recipe for a strawberry tiramisu in a glasscan be found here. Maybe you can find matching heart-shaped bowls or you can prepare the tiramisu in a cup that has a matching shape.

You can achieve a heart shape particularly quickly if you simply spread the cream in a heart shape, as in this example. We give you the recipe for the cream. Keep these in the fridge for 3-4 hours before serving and it is best to prepare the Tiramisu Heart as a dessert immediately before serving.

  • ladyfingers
  • cooled espresso
  • 360g unsweetened whipped cream
  • 1 No
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 335 g Mascarpone
  • optional 240 ml coffee
  • Cocoa for dusting

Soak the ladyfingers in the espresso. It's best to simply spread three biscuits per serving on a plate and gradually drizzle them with the coffee until they are soft.

Prepare the cream by beating the egg with the sugar until stiff, then stir in the cream and mascarpone and beat with a hand mixer until a fluffy cream is formed. You can mix coffee into this cream to get the typical coffee aroma. Then spread the finished cream in a heart shape on the biscuits to create the tiramisu heart. You can also use a cookie cutter or another shape if you don't feel comfortable doing it free hand.
